Knowledge of cardiorespiratory protection skills is important for everyone
Dr. Adkar: demonstration programme of emergency measures in pharmacy, JSPM, Pune, Knowledge of CPR, i.e., cardiac and respiratory protection skills, is essential for every person. You can save a dying person's life in an emergency without any tools. If this skill can give a person a life, then it is a matter of satisfaction for a lifetime, says Principal Dr. Prafulla Adkar, who addressed the audience.
Today (March 31, 2023), at Sawant Institute of Pharmacy, JSPM, Hadapsar, a CPR Training and Demonstration Programme was organised by Director Dr. Sanjay Sawant and Dr. It was done in the presence of Vasant Bugde.
Prof. Pallavi Shelke said that the human CPR training table should teach the location of the heart in the body, the circulatory system, technical CPR techniques, manual pumping, and mouth-to-mouth breathing. Also, Prof. Shelke gave a demonstration to the first-year DPharmacy students about the precautions to be taken while giving CPR in an emergency and how to administer first aid.
Prof. Anuradha Patil, Prof. Swapnil Gadekar, Prof. Komal Bhosale, Prof. Nikita Kolte, and Prof. Sagar Sonar made special efforts to make the programme a success.
