Tree Plantation
Jayawantrao Sawant Institute of Pharmacy, Pune conducted tree plantation program at JSPM hadapsar Campus on dated 15/09/23. Our Principal Dr. P. P. Adkar delivered a speech by wishing “Tree plantation” as well as “world nature conservation day”, He shared the importance of nature and how we can protect it for the betterment of our future. The outlook towards nature must be changed from Utility to Divinity. Trees are the most important part of natural resources. It is our moral responsibility to conserve it with the highest priority. Dr. V. Bugade , Director of the institute, added, “We should not only save the trees but should put our equal efforts in planting as well nurturing the trees at least for next 4/5 years”. He also explained the importance of such an event to develop a good virtue in one's life. All the participants have planted more than 100 saplings around the campus and nearby their homes.At the plantation of saplings, all have recited a shloka to maintain the divinity between thehuman and nature. There are Total 6 plants are planted at hadapsar campus on same date.S.Y.D.Pharm & F.Y.D.Pharm Students are involved in this activity during plantation.
