BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Blood donation event was organized by Jayawantarao Sawant Institute of Pharmacy,Hadapsar campus, on date 27Novmber 2023.the aim is to "Donate the blood ,save the life" by appointing the Karyasiddhi Pratishthan, Blood Bank, Pune. for which blood wad donated by students and staff members of JSPM College Hadapsar, Pune.It is the way of JSPM college in a bringing a ray of a hope to contribute to the serious problem of acute storage of blood. India face a blood storage of 3 million units, the problem can be addressed if an additional 2% of Indians donate blood as opened by the health experts. We need 12 million units of blood every year but just about 9 millions units are being donated.JSPM Collège Hadapsar has been religiously organizing blood donation camps every year students and faculty members come forward to donate blood. While addressing to various institutes of JSPM Campus brought awareness in them about shortage of blood, how save the life and why wend must donate blood every year, to help the person requiring blood. Blood donation saves life's of innumerable persons. Donation of blood is very critical and crucial for saving the life, many patients and those who have met with accidents. So it is as such a great service or contribution to the society and people living in it.
