WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATION

In order to provide a propitious environment where the young talents would think out of the box and have a great learning experience, World Book Day Celebration was held at Jayawantrao Sawant institute of Pharmacy, Hadapsar on Saturday, 23 April, 2022.

The Health and educational benefits of reading were explained to the students with a view to increase their enjoyment of reading.  A variety of activities were planned for FY & SY classes to encourage reading habits among students instead of resorting to online media for every solution. The Principal of the college, Dr. Prafulla P. Adkar was present for this event. On the occasion of World book Day, The Principal Said, “Reading is an investment in which you get good returns and books are your true friends”. He also spoke about the importance of books in daily life and encouraged students to read more and more books. Prof. Pallavi Shelke discussed the history behind World Book Day and why reading is important.

                    Students were actively participated in Library sessions. Also, on the occasion of World Book Day, a Creative World Book Photography Competition was organized in the college. The best photography winners in the competition were awarded certificates as token of love. The program was Arranged by Prof. Pallavi Shelke. The students were inspired and promised to read additional books. Overall, it was a fun and learning experience for the students.
